When we are sick or our lives are disturbed in some way we tend to see the darkness and to turn in on ourselves. The healing that we need is more than a physical one, it involves being freed from self-concern to care for others.
WORLD DAY OF THE SICK - SATURDAY - FEBRUARY 11 “For I was sick and you visited me.” (Matthew 25:36) Saturday, February 11th is World Day of the Sick. A Special Blessing & Anointing of the Sick will take place at the 10.30 a.m. Mass on that day. Pleaseadvise all the sick and housebound of your area and help provide transport if necessary. Thank you.

JOURNEY THROUGH GRIEF: (Bereavement Support Group) Following the death of a significant person in our lives, it is important to have the opportunity to express our feelings in a supportive, understanding environment if we are to fully accept the reality of the loss. This course offers an opportunity to enable you to cope in a healthy way. A minimum of 3-6months after the death is preferable and no more than two family members per group.
