SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM

Sundays: 1.00 p.m.(first three Sundays of month) and (two weeks notice) The Sacrament of Baptism is an important Sacrament for your child but also for your family. For this reason we ask for two weeks notice so that your Area Priest or a member of our Baptism Team can get a chance to call to the family, and prepare parents for the Sacrament itself. FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

The pupils of Scoil Ursula, St. John’s and the Gael Scoil receive their First Holy Communion in the Cathedral during the month of May each year.

SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION

The Sacrament of Confirmation is administered by the Bishop for the pupils of Scoil Ursula, St. John’s and the Gael Scoil during the months of May or June. Anyone else in the parish who hasn’t received the Sacrament of Confirmation, and who would like to receive it, should contact their local priest, and he will make the necessary arrangements.
